2024 Bill Beckman "Under the Dome" GUTS Frisbee Tournament (Marquette)

In the 1970s and 80s Marquette was a Bastian for Guts Frisbee in America. We had practices in the cemetery, the swamp, tourist park, Picnic Rocks and many others. Every party had throw together guts games going all night long. Brothers and sisters from virtually every family in Marquette at 1 time played guts. One family in particular was the Beckman's, They had 5 brothers who played. Dan "Red" the oldest, and Jim "JB" were members of the legendary Queen City Flyers with future HOF Dan being the captain for many years. Then, Allan and Brian of Bud Light fame and Scott who also played. Their sister Linda was always there as well. Their parents Bill, who still attends both the Marquette and Appleton tournament, and Betty R.I.P. were at every tournament and they are loved by all. They are fixtures of our beloved sport. Marquette Guts is so thankful that their family is sponsoring The Bill Beckman Under The Dome Guts FRISBEE tournament March 17th St. Patrick's Day.We want to encourage as many old players especially Marquetters to play one last time and as many rookies/college students to participate in this tournament. We will be balancing out teams with our top professionals and our goal is to have every team entered have an opportunity to win this first ever dome tournament. Marquette Guts Frisbee Association is proud to host this growing Guts event. Parking is free, spectator

entry is free, tournament entry fee is FREE!!! I am asking for full compliance, nothing less!!! Get your buddies to play Guts for one day, one more time, for old time sake. At minimum set your calendar for St. Patrick's Day at the Superior Dome, 10am-6pm, beer garden and concessions open 12to5. Rookies needed.
