All-Star Weekend

The inaugural USA Guts All-Star Weekend on October 4th and 5th is going to be epic! Every Guts player is invited to compete and every Guts fan is encouraged to come cheer us on and join in the festivities. Guts players will be challenged in ways they’ve never been challenged before, and the best of the best will walk away from All-Star Weekend with unique traveling trophies and bragging rights for the entire 2026 season.
Gorgeous Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, was chosen to host the first ever All-Star Weekend because it’s less than six hours via car from Appleton, Marquette, Houghton/Hancock, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Grand Rapids, Lansing and Detroit. The All-Star Weekend festivities will start at 12:00 pm (CT) on Saturday and conclude by 5:00 pm (CT) on Sunday, meaning if you are from the midwest you can attend this event and NOT need Friday and Monday for travel days.
Registration to All-Star Weekend is open to anyone who plays Guts and includes the following activities:
All-Star Weekend Draft Tournament
Eight of the 2025 Guts All-Stars will be the captains. Every other Guts player registered for the weekend will be put on a draft board. Behind closed doors, the eight captains will select their teams in a snake draft format. The eight teams will be introduced, pick team names, decorate their jerseys, and then compete in round-robin action all day on Saturday. On Sunday, the teams will be seeded into a single elimination tournament to determine the All-Star Weekend Tournament Champions.
The winning team will earn fancy trophies. Second place will be the first loser. Trash talk is encouraged.
All-Star Weekend Skills Competition
Between games on Saturday we’ll begin the individual Skills Competition. Every player will have the opportunity to earn points in games that test their Frisbee skills. On Sunday, the four individuals with the highest scores will compete in a soccer-style shootout to determine the Skills Competition winner. The winner will be awarded a world championship belt that will be the traveling trophy for this event.
The Gutsys
Saturday night will be the first ever Gutsy Awards. This will be a Frisbee-formal event, so be sure to bring your fanciest Frisbee attire. The Gutsys will be a celebration of the 2025 Guts season and will announce the winners of the brand new Guts postseason awards. The finalists for the new awards will be announced after the United States Guts Open in Lansing in August. Guts players, fans, and media will then have the opportunity to cast their votes in the following categories:
Yooper All-Star Team
Non-Yooper All-Star Team
Most Valuable Player (The Healy Award)
Female Player of the Year (The Nancy B Award)

Celebrity Game
The All-Star Weekend Celebrity Game will feature some silly Guts played by the characters that make our game so great, complete with in-game interviews and unpredictable on-field challenges.
All-Star Game: Yoopers vs. Everybody
All-Star Weekend will conclude with the main event, as the best Guts players in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (aka Yoopers) will compete in the first ever Guts All-Star Game against a team of the best non-Yooper players. Both teams will be established through a vote of their peers and the 2025 All-Stars will be announced in the weeks leading up to All-Star Weekend. Can the Yoopers exert their dominance on the sport by defeating the best players from the rest of the country? Pull up your lawn chair and pick your pony and find out!
Registration/Event Details
Join us for the festivities of All-Star Weekend! Everyone is invited to attend and participate!
Registration is only $40 per player and you can CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. That does NOT include any food. It does guarantee that you get to compete in the Draft Tournament and the Skills Competition and also gets you a seat at The Gutsys.
There is no admission fee for fans and everyone who comes out to All-Star Weekend is welcome to attend The Gutsys. Fans are also encouraged to try the Skills Competition events.
All-Star Weekend is a USA Guts fundraiser event and a portion of the proceeds will be provided to USA Guts to produce a “30 for 30”-style documentary on the sport. The piece will be produced by Gatekeeper Media in 2026 and posted on their YouTube page that has 147k followers. It will also be pitched to ESPN 8ish.
The field events (both Saturday and Sunday) will be held at Fox River Park disc golf course in Burlington, WI about 20 minutes from Lake Geneva. Sorry to disappoint that we’re not playing Frisbee on the beach, but this whole event sounds way more sexy being held in Lake Geneva, than saying All-Star Weekend is in Burlington, Wisconsin in 55 degree weather. But if you’ve read this far, then you must be pretty excited about this.
So come join us.
Especially you, Hazer.
